Fellow Precinct Committeemen,
Our party stands at a critical juncture. As we look toward the upcoming election cycles, the question we must ask ourselves is simple: Is our current organization built to win, or are we standing in our own way?
I am writing to you today to officially announce my candidacy for Chair of the Will County Republican Central Committee (WCRCC).
I am running because I believe the role of the Chair is not to be a political lightning rod, but to be a professional facilitator for the hardworking men and women in our precincts. For too long, our energy has been turned inward. It is time to turn that energy outward toward our true opposition, with a steady hand and a clear plan.
My leadership will be defined by three foundational pillars:

1. Professionalism & Decorum
Our meetings should be a place of productive work, not personal grievances. I am committed to restoring a culture of mutual respect where every PC—regardless of their tenure—is heard and valued. When we operate with excellence internally, we become a magnet for the donors and volunteers we need to succeed.
2. Decisive Leadership & Accountability
You deserve a Chair who provides a roadmap, not a riddle. I will lead with transparency, making timely decisions and standing by them. My "First 100 Days" plan outlines exactly how we will audit our resources, modernize our communication, and get our house in order.
3. Strategic Unity (The "Big Tent" Victory)
Our mission is singular: To elect Republicans. As your Chair, I will ensure the Committee is a resource for every approved candidate on our ticket. We cannot afford to be our own worst enemy. We win when we provide our candidates with the data, the volunteers, and the unified backing they need to cross the finish line.
My Ask of You: You are the boots on the ground. You know the challenges in your precinct better than anyone. I’m not asking for your vote so I can hold a title; I’m asking for your vote so I can get to work for you.
I would be honored to discuss my vision with you personally. Please feel free to reach out to me via phone or email or look for me at our upcoming meeting. Together, let’s build a professional organization that is respected by the public and feared by our opposition.
Respectfully,
Daniel J. Butler
